In addition to the cascade of poppies falling down the tower, pouring over the battlement, and finishing over the south porch there are balls of poppies hanging from the trees - with more on the entry gates to the churchyard - and inside the church.

Tring Remembering World War 1

On August 4th 2014, following a service in the Parish Church, there was a short service of remembrance at the War Memorial in Church Square and the procession then marched to the Memorial Garden to unveil a plaque.
In subsequent years other events linked to the war and remembering those who died took place.
