Opened in 1851 as the city terminus of the Cork & Bandon Railway, later to become the Cork Bandon and South Coast Railway, this station closed to passengers in 1961 and completely in 1976.
View south at the forecourt. Compared to W6871 : Albert Quay station building, the trainshed has been removed and the area redeveloped.
