Good Beer Guide-listed inn on South Street. Apparently dating from C14, with cobbled central alley, presumably the original coach entrance, and various rooms left and right on two levels. The tap bar has exposed stonework, moulded ceiling decorations and wooden panelling; four cask ales from the Marstons group are on offer. The building is Grade II listed by Historic England: Link
