Taken at the corner of High Street and Nairdwood Lane, this photo shows a display of hand-knitted poppies on a shrub, a drawing of a soldier and poppies on a post to the right, two small wreaths of poppies on metal posts and a seat with poppies spelling the words "Lest We Forget". This display was to mark the ending of World War I on Monday 11th November 1918, one hundred years ago. The blue signpost on the right of the photo refers to the National Cycle Network route 57 giving distances of 3 miles to Great Hampden and 5½ miles to Princes Risborough.
