 Library Walk
Library Walk

A quiet passageway away from the bustle of Albert Square. The gates in the foreground are now closed at night.

In the background rising above Mount Street is a new skyscraper. Originally to be known as 1 Hardman Square, the tower on the site of Quay House is now known as 1 Spinningfields. At 20 storeys it is the tallest office block in Manchester since the CIS Tower was constructed in 1962. It is home to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Library Walk

A curved footpath between Manchester Central Library and the Town Hall Extension linking St Peter's Square to Mount Street.
