A Brocken Spectre at Eildon Mid Hill
A low November sun from behind has cast my shadow onto a layer of mist at Eildon Mid Hill, and along with the halo-like rings of a glory, a Brocken spectre has been formed. The effect is named after sightings on the Brocken mountain in Germany.
