Classic Bridge, Chiswick House gardens
Classic Bridge, Chiswick House gardens
Designed by the architect James Wyatt and built for the 5th Duke of Devonshire in 1774, it spans the artificial lake in the gardens. Apparently, there is still visible shrapnel damage to the bridge from Second World War German bombs.
