The Doughty Gallery
The Doughty Gallery
A small part of the personal collection of Wilfred deVere Doughty, who followed his father into the management of a local trawler company and the local newspaper.

Wilfred left his collection of art objects and ship memorabilia to the town of Grimsby, and it became the core of the local museum service, who built the fishing heritage centre on the dockside. Parts of the collection are displayed there, and are rotated through in order to comply with the donor's wishes.
