The Lost Ships
The Lost Ships
The annual exhibition of the Grimsby Fisheries Heritage Centre is a timeline of the loss of 307 ships during World War 1. Each vessel is named, and the details of the crew and date of loss are given. Where pictures or newspaper stories have been found, they are reproduced. This represents the loss of around 1200 lives.

The exhibition includes artefacts from several wrecks dived upon expressly to create this exhibit, and a book listing each vessel and something of the story is on sale at the museum
