Treak Cliff Cavern: Visitor Centre
Treak Cliff Cavern: Visitor Centre
Treak Cliff Cavern offers the opportunity for the public to walk through a blue john mine. Tours start at the visitor centre which incorporates a shop and café but emerges further up the hillside; visitors then follow the zigzag path back to the building. Although actual mining does still take place it is restricted to a few days each year; the cavern's more important role is as a visitor attraction.
