Bridleway marker in the woods
Leicestershire has an excellent policy waymarking its bridleways and public footpaths. The yellow topped posts can be easily seen in the distance and usually mark where the right off way crosses a field boundary or a junction with other paths.
A 61ha remnant of the original Charnwood Forest, Swithland Wood is part of the Bradgate Estate and is managed by the Bradgate Park Trust.
