Bottle kilns at disused pottery
Bottle kilns at disused pottery
There are two bottle kilns among the remains of what was Walker's Pottery, north of Corbridge; both are well preserved and grade II listed. There are other quite extensive remains at the site, not so well preserved and not easily accessible to the public as they stand on privately owned land associated with the house in view in the image. There is agreed access to the two preserved kilns by a path from Milkwell Lane, beyond the farther one.
