Church of St James, Riddings
Church of St James, Riddings
View from the west across the churchyard, showing the twin lancets of the nave. Built 1832 by Francis Bedford, for the Oakes family of Riddings House, in a plain Early English Gothic style. The church is oriented north-south, although there is plenty of room for it to have been built on a conventional east-west axis. Listed Grade II.
