taken 7 years ago, near to Foxton, Cambridgeshire, England

Foxton station serves the village of Foxton in Cambridgeshire. It is 50 miles from London King's Cross. The station (as well as the trains serving it) is operated by Great Northern.
It is located adjacent to the busy A10 level crossing, which is monitored from the nearby signal box. A freight-only branch (the Barrington Light Railway) diverges to the west beyond the crossing south of the station, serving the nearby Barrington cement works & quarry.
The Cambridge Line runs from Cambridge Junction on the East Coast Main Line to Shepreth Branch Junction on the West Anglia Main Line and forms part of the route between London King's Cross and East Anglia. The line opened in 1851.
In 2013 the Hitchin Flyover was completed to allow better access across the East Coast Main Line.
