NN3406 : The steep way down - Cailness

taken 20 days ago, 3 km from Inversnaid, Stirling, Great Britain

The steep way down - Cailness
The steep way down - Cailness
Descent to Loch Lomond from the pass above Cailness between Cruinn a' Bheinn and Cruachan. This road was a horrible eyesore during the 1980s and 1990s after it was dug, but has blended in a bit now. Unfortunately it is too steep and lower down it is badly eroded.
