A low flying RAF Tornado
This aircraft (ZA607/EB-X) was the wingman in a 2-ship of Tornados on a low flying sortie in the Selkirk to Moffat Valley. I was on Altrieve Rig as it passed Ward Law near Dryhope. For a view of the two approaching aircraft, see NT3325 : Incoming Tornados.
The Tornado will be withdrawn in early 2019 after nearly 40 years of service with the RAF.
