This is Saltwick Nab, viewed from the west on the Cleveland Way. It lies on the North Yorkshire coast to the east of Whitby NZ 8911 which itself sits astride the mouth of the River Esk. It is in the hands of the National Trust as part of their Yorkshire Coast property. The Cleveland Way starts at Helmsley SE 6183, goes via Osmotherley SE 4597, Guisborough NZ 6116, Saltburn-by-the-Sea NZ 6621, Whitby NZ 9011, Scarborough TA 0488 and after 100 miles comes to an end at the coastal town of Filey TA 1281.
