The Rose and Crown, Newcastle
This little pub is in the city centre on Newgate Street. It was designed by Benjamin Simpson in 1914 as an infill next to the Empire Palace Theatre, which is long gone, but the little pub survives. Although it has had a facelift recently, the Edwardian style tiled exterior still remains largely unaltered.
