St Margaret's Church - Burnham Norton, Norfolk
St Margaret's Church - Burnham Norton, Norfolk
This church with its round tower sits beside the B1355 some way south-south-east of its village of Burnham Norton TF8243. The flint-built church is entirely Norman with the exception of its battlements of the 15th century. There is a Norman font and a rood screen given in 1458 by William and Joan Groom. The church has two pulpits, the now superseded one being given to the church in 1475 by John and Catherine Goldale. Time photo taken not available.
