The Devil's Cheesewring
The Devil's Cheesewring
Looking up the Devil's Cheesewring, a rock formation on the southern slopes of the Valley of Rocks. The signpost points to Mother Meldrum's Cave, supposedly in the formation (although there is now no sign of a cave as such, just various clefts in the rock) referred to in R D Blackmore's novel, Lorna Doone.
