ST3552 : Sedgemoor services, northbound M5, on Christmas Day
taken 6 years ago, near to East Brent, Somerset, England

Sedgemoor services is a motorway service station on the M5 motorway near the village of Rooks Bridge. The location of the services can be identified from a long distance because of their proximity to Brent Knoll, an isolated hill on the Somerset Levels.
The site opened in 1970 as Brent Knoll Rest Area, which was upgraded in 1987 to Service area status.
The northbound station is operated by Welcome Break, and the southbound station is operated by RoadChef
The M5 runs 163 miles from a junction with the M6 at West Bromwich near Birmingham to Exeter in Devon. Constructed between 1962 & 1977. It links the North and Midlands with the South west. Link
