Gas Holder at British Gas Grangetown Gas Works
Gas Holder at British Gas Grangetown Gas Works
Situated behind IKEA and sandwiched against the railway is this grade II listed former gas holder. It was built in 1881 for the supply of town gas and was repaired after bomb damage caused during the Second World War. It was listed in 1992 by Cadw because of its rarity and architectural design.
