Twixt Wickes and Riverside
Twixt Wickes and Riverside
Here between Wickes on the left and the now Riverside House on the right runs the River Tame on its way to its confluence with the River Trent SK 1914 near Alrewas SK 1715. The Tame has two sources, at Oldbury SO 9988 and Willenhall SO 9799 near Wolverhampton SO 9198 and runs for 59 mls (miles)/95 km (kilometres) to its confluence with the Trent. There is also a River Tame Way - I will add details when I find them. Time taken 1.14 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
