All Saints church at South Baileygate viewed from Pontefract Castle. The church dates from the 14th and 15th centuries, but was partially ruined during the English Civil War in 1645. It underwent alterations in 1838 and in late 1960s. The church is Grade II* listed, see: LinkExternal link
