Logie Green Road, Beaverbank
Logie Green Road, Beaverbank
Once a mixed industrial and residential street which eventually took over the parkland which was a cricket field. In the 19th century there was a foundry to the south of the cricket ground and later the George Waterston & Co. printworks occupied the land with the new flats on to the right of the picture. Surviving print works buildings can be seen far left and nearby at the Lady Haig Poppy Factory.
