This is the old Newtown Hospital site hat is now called Aconbury. On the right are the estates offices and the emergency generator room. The old diesel alternator set is behind the left hand grill and has a rusty exhaust pipe. Behind the right hand grill is a new Caterpillar set in a sound reducing enclosure. Its exhaust pipe had yet to be fitted. There breeze block section also had to have its brick covering laid (January 2019). Behind is Aconbury East and this is getting a major refurbishment with new wards and a new plant room on the roof. The framework of the latter is seen next to old plant room and lift motor room.
