taken 7 months ago, near to Coniston Cold, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Coniston Corn Mill
Coniston Corn Mill
The tumbled remains of the former corn mill of Coniston Cold & Bell Busk.
A quick look at the 1851 census revealed that a Mr John Hunter 49 was Master Miller, and he employed 4 men who included Elijah Hindle 23, Thomas Ingle 18 and Henry Whitham 44. The mill appears to have shut before the next census in 1861 as the mill isn't mentioned.
