Whether as a result of global economy, government policy, foolish lifestyle choices, rotten luck or some combination of factors, there are plenty of doorways of vacant shops with rough sleepers in Bournemouth town centre, as with many other towns.

This little encampment, on the doorstep of a closed-down (or not-yet-opened) restaurant in Westover Road, seems relatively well equipped as these things go, with plenty of sleeping bags, stock of tinned foods and several books.
