Ramps to replacement footbridge over Cragg Brook (Elphin Brook), Mytholmroyd
Ramps to replacement footbridge over Cragg Brook (Elphin Brook), Mytholmroyd
Following flooding on Boxing Day 2015, the Environment Agency have been carrying out works to improve flood defences around Mytholmroyd. This has involved raising the height of the walls alongside Cragg Brook (Elphin Brook).

A footbridge built in the 1940s crossed between New Road and Streamside Fold. This has been replaced with a new bridge accessed by longer ramps. The new footbridge had been opened but the permanent railings / handrails hand not yet been installed.
