Metal plate attached to stone post by the A684, in parish of Garsdale (South Lakeland District), Hawes Road, West of lane to Grimsdale; 250m Northeast of Hard Ing Bridge, near Far End Farm, on Southeast side of road. Sedbergh 'V' iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
