Samuel Beckett Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Dublin that joins Sir John Rogerson's Quay on the south side of the River Liffey to Guild Street and North Wall Quay in the Docklands area.
Architect Santiago Calatrava, was the lead designer of the Samuel Beckett Bridge. He was assisted with the civil and structural aspects of the design by Roughan & O'Donovan consulting engineers.

The River Liffey flows through the centre of Dublin. Its major tributaries include the River Dodder, the River Poddle and the River Camac. The river supplies much of Dublin's water and a range of recreational activities. It rises in The Wicklow Mountains and flows 125km.
