Dolaucothi Arms, Pumsaint
A traditional and surviving village pub. The core of the building is 18th century with considerable alterations over time. The building is listed by Cadw as Grade II. In 1854 the writer and traveller George Borrow stayed here and described it as "comfortable old fashioned place with a very large kitchen and a rather small parlour". The property along with much of the Dolaucothi Estate is now owned by the National Trust.
