Construction of flood defence wall at Bridge End, Burnley Road, Mytholmroyd
Mytholmroyd was badly affected by flooding on Boxing Day 2015. This was the location of a row of shops (4-16 Burnley Road), several of which were severely damaged.

The buildings were subsequently demolished and were being replaced by a new flood defence wall. This forms part of a 30m flood allevaiation scheme.
