Ramparts and Ditches on Hambledon Hill
Ramparts and Ditches on Hambledon Hill
Large Iron Age Hillfort on the western edge of Cranbourne Chase in Dorset.
Evidence suggests it was first occupied in Neolithic times in around 2800BC, although it could have been earlier, and finally abandoned in 300BC.
