SD9994 : Stream groove with trap

Stream groove with trap
Stream groove with trap
The stream is one of a number of similar, minor water courses draining eastwards from Virgin Moss near to Apedale Head. The trap is within the cage on the pole across the stream. That cage prevents birds from landing on the gin and becoming victims; the trap would have been illegally set if that had been a possibility.
