Overbridge Abutment
Overbridge Abutment
This narrow bridge seems to have been built to allow livestock to cross from one side of the railway to the other. The bridge itself must have been made of Iron girder as the bed of it has been removed for scrap many moons ago.
The bed of the old railway is mostly a giant bog with two lines of deeper water, as I found out to my cost!
