Blackhause Sike and the A66
Blackhause Sike and the A66
This is close to the bog from which Blackhause Sike emerges. Due to its straightened course and multiple coverage by culverts this small beck must have been realigned by the railwaymen in the 1860's.
The A66 was relatively quiet on this bright February day.
