NY8912 : Rubbish Catcher in Rowtonbridge Sike

Rubbish Catcher in Rowtonbridge Sike
Rubbish Catcher in Rowtonbridge Sike
Originally this metal catcher was designed to stop livestock escaping from the field; now it is holding back plastic rubbish that has found its way into the beck because further up its course it flows under the A66 dual carriageway. When you consider this stream is less than 3 miles away from its source, high on the Pennine moors, is there any hope for our environment?
