Planes landing at Heathrow fly low over Kew Gardens, one every minute or so. This one is from Air Canada. The photo TQ1876 : View to trees past pagoda with dragon, Kew Gardens shows the same trees and a dragon carving on the pagoda. The evergreen tree is a cedar.

The Gardens were established in 1759. The gardens are responsible for the world's largest collection of living plants. The site houses four Grade I and thirty six Grade II listed buildings. The gardens were designated UNESCO World Heritage status in 2003.
