This is a school for autistic children, formerly part of the Ida Convalescent Hospital. The other part has a similar shape and was built in 1890 in Arts and Craft style. It is listed, Grade II. This part first appears on the 1908 1:2500 map.
I believe the correct name of this beck is actually Oil Mill Beck - that is, if it is the beck roughly parallel to the N E railway from Horsforth station towards Leeds.
