Milford on Sea: the sea defence goes from wall to boulders
Milford on Sea: the sea defence goes from wall to boulders
The sea defences take the form of a concrete wall (with stepped slope to the sea) along the promenade, and now we are at the far end of the car park/road, the wall comes to an end and large boulders continue at the start of the shingle spit.

It was a very windy day today - gusts of 60mph were forecast and almost certainly occurred - and we can see a few blobs of foam flying over the end of the wall (see SZ2991 : Milford on Sea: foam flies over the sea defences).
