The former trackbed of the Bessbrook and Newry Tramway passing under an arch of the Craigmore Viaduct
The tramway powered by hydro electricity operated between 1885 and 1948 and carried both passengers and freight. The track is now a walking and cycling lane.

Craigmore Viaduct

This 18 arch bridge was constructed by the Belfast and Dublin Junction Railway between 1845 and 1852 to a design by J.B.Macneill. The viaduct is built from granodiorites of the Newry Igneous Complex quarried at Goraghwood a couple of miles to the north along the railway line.
