NZ2068 : The back of Kenton Bank Heath

taken 5 years ago, near to Woolsington, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

The back of Kenton Bank Heath
The back of Kenton Bank Heath
The new estate on the right is Kenton Bank Heath off Station Road. On the left is the footpath which runs from Ponteland Road to Newbiggin Hall. The partially culverted small stream bed follows the footpath. I recall about thirty years ago that it passed under Ponteland Road on the south side of the Metro bridge then under the Metro towards the school. It eventually joins the Ouseburn.
