Parkland near Wexham (3)
A mighty cedar apparently trying to drink from the lake, which was created by damming a brook. The fine park surrounding Langley Park was landscaped by the ubiquitous Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in 1763-64, and later altered in tune with Victorian tastes. The 12 hectare site has now been largely opened to the public while the house is restored and converted to a hotel.
