Stoke Common (8)
Stoke Common (8)
An 80-hectare expanse of open heathland ringed by mixed woodland. Off the paths, much of the open land is boggy (creating interesting reflections as can be seen here). A Site of Special Scientific Interest, it is now an outpost of the City of London to which ownership was transferred from South Bucks District Council in 2008.
