Iron Age boat discovered
Iron Age boat discovered
Taken on film in 1998, though I cannot remember which month it was. The quarry company discovered an Iron Age boat laden with stone that had capsized thousands of years ago when the River Trent ran through this area. The boat is now in Derby Museum.
