NO2418 : Whisky barrels
taken 3 years ago, near to Newburgh, Fife, Great Britain

Whisky barrels
A stack of barrels waiting to be used by the Lindores Abbey Distillery in Newburgh. Linear ploughing on the face of Park Hill in the background marks the field with the shape of a bear holding what looks like a post or a tree. The 'Bear and Ragged Staff' symbol was associated with the coat of arms of the Earls of Warwick and there is a long and convoluted story of family relations that links the Warwicks with Newburgh.
