This small round window on the former Yorkshire Penny Bank building SE2933 : Aspire, Leeds: front view is surmounted by the initials of the bank, and the Greek letters Alpha and Omega (perhaps suggesting an institution that would last forever).
Aspire (former Yorkshire Bank), Leeds
This building on Infirmary Street was built in 1894 by G B Bulmer for the Yorkshire Penny Bank (later just known as the Yorkshire Bank). It has recently been converted into a conference centre. It is grade 2 listed (list entryn umber 1375024).
