The highest arches on the Craigmore Viaduct
Here above the path and the Bessbrook River are the highest of the 18 60 ft span arches. They two are 126 ft high.
Craigmore Viaduct

This 18 arch bridge was constructed by the Belfast and Dublin Junction Railway between 1845 and 1852 to a design by J.B.Macneill. The viaduct is built from granodiorites of the Newry Igneous Complex quarried at Goraghwood a couple of miles to the north along the railway line.
