Viewed on March 21st 2019. The yard on the left is the site of the demolished Marshfield station where passenger services ended in 1959. On the right, preparations for the electrification of the main line are at an advanced stage.
Great Western Railway passenger trains on this part of the route from London Paddington to Cardiff Central are scheduled to be powered by electricity later this year.
